A Slightly Forced Post

I'm back.  Finally.  It's been a long time I know.  I got a little bogged down in the run up to Christmas and was busy making.  Then after New Year I've found it hard to get back to it.  The blogging flow had well and truly come to a grinding halt.  So, with Bella Bee at her dad's this weekend, I've had to simply force myself to sit with my laptop and type.

We had a lovely Christmas and New Year.  Very quiet and slow.  My mum came and stayed for a few days which I always love.  Her presence is always missed once she's gone back home.  I also celebrated a birthday in between Christmas and New Year.  I don't really like the timing of my birthday and have often thought about copying the Queen and having a 2nd, unofficial birthday/party in June when it can be celebrated properly.  It's never happened yet, but maybe this year.

I tried to make as many presents as I could this year.  However, in our family we have an extraordinary amount of birthdays around the festive period, with 5 (including my own) in the period between Christmas and New Year alone, as well as a few more either side.  This coupled with the fact that I am a slow crocheter and knitter, an avid perfectionist with no focus, and I had to alter a couple of the patterns (a very time consuming and lengthy process for me even for the most minor of changes) means I got a little behind.  I have almost caught up, with the last birthday present currently on hook.  Over the coming week I will be sharing with you all the things I've made over the last few months.

I'm looking forward to this year.

The fragrant hyacinths my mum bought me filling my kitchen with their heady scent.

Peace Out x

hello lovely! mothers are special and well needed at christmas, i too the same have a birthday at christmas, myself and twinny decided to have a few drinkies and a meal out in november so that we had quality time without the mad rush around the festive period! we are wondering if it would be better to change it to a day in the summer. glad you had a lovely time. its hard when your little ones have to go to their dads, ive jst had to
change when my ex gets to see sophia as a few situations have ruined my trust. And sophia's teacher called me in on thursday for a serious chat about something to do with sophia's stays at his. It means another court procedure because you cant talk to him without a row...which is sad and i dont think i have the strength to deal with it all again...anyhoo...we get through some how, how im not sure but we do!...take care of yourself and enjoy some 'meeee' time xxxx

Great to see you back, I know how easy it is to get out of the blogging habit.

Would hate to have a birthday in between christmas and new year, you should totally have a second birthday! Mum and i and obe of her friends used to have unofficial birthdays because Lorraine's birthday was in november and she wanted a bbq for her birthday and my mum is in July and wanted a party where we sat by the fire!

Looking forward to seeing all your Christmas/birthday crafting.

Welcome back! It's good to have a break sometimes. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and a crafty one by the sounds of it. I adore Hyacinths too, and the smell of them. I had the blue variety in my wedding bouquet along with white tulips (my fave flower) as we got married in springtime. They will always be memorable for me now. That's the great thing about flowers...

Welcome back! Sometimes life is just overwhelmingly busy isn't it? We are the same for Birthdays in December and January.

Hillbilly Toothpick is the term used for penis sizegenetics that have been removed and utilized for toothpicks or decoration (mainly on baseball and cowboy hats). Typically they are the penis sizegenetics from raccoons. They aren't used much for toothpicks any longer, but this form of penis sizegenetics utilization can still be seen adorning people's hats.Sound crazy? Well, I guess that relies on your point of view. What exactly are penis sizegenetics? That's a better question: Penis sizegenetics may very well be sizegenetics that are found generally in most mammals that may help them create an sizegenetics.
